# Why doesn't a Trip ID appear in Global Search or Trip Management?

This usually means the trip date ended more than a year ago. Once a trip ends and more than a year has passed, the system automatically moves the related query to the [**Archived**](https://sembark.com/travel-software/docs/trip-holding-and-locking.md) section.

You can still find it: in the global search or on the trip filter page, tick the **Show Archived Trips** checkbox and the query will appear.
