Enhanced financial tracking now displays booking and paid amounts across operational bookings, while new Quick Add functionality for hotels simplifies hotel entry processes for faster quotation preparation. The quote email template has been improved with options to change the title of Accommodation section and package price displays.Let's go into more details of each update. ## 1. ⁠ Task Management ### 1.1 ⁠Task Assignment to fellow Team Members The new update has an 'assign-to-someone' field in the Tasks & Comments section to assign work to the relevant person in their organisation. ![Image showing assign to someone field](https://sembark.com/assets/images/uploads/release-notes-1-161-assign-to-someone.jpg) ### 1.2 ⁠More Details in Listing We’ve added new columns—Source, Guest, and Assigned To—to give you more clarity, and along with this, the pending leads were shown first, then overdue Tasks, and then resolved Tasks. ![Image showing All Tasks page](https://sembark.com/assets/images/uploads/release-notes-1-161-all-tasks.jpg) ::: info Naming convention for Assigned To details If task is created by you for yourselves, then the `Assigned To` column will show 'Self'. If someone else has assigned you a task, then the `Assigned To` column will show "Me". If you created a task and assigned it to someone else, then the `Assigned To` will show the name of the user. ::: ### 1.3 ⁠More Filters, Better Workflows Now, you can filter Tasks by 'created by', 'assigned to' and 'Task status'. This is specifically useful for team managers and admins to filter the pending or overview tasks for today or yesterday giving another opportunity to ensure proper tasks are done. ![Image showing all tasks Advanced filter](https://sembark.com/assets/images/uploads/release-notes-1-161-followups-advanced-filters.jpg) ## 2. ⁠Multiple cab suppliers management in the booking Through contracting sheets (CSVs), you can upload supplier-wise booking rates for transport services, mentioning the supplier code name in the vehicle name. e.g., `Innova [[ABC Travels]]`. For quotations, you can use a single rate for ease of calculations. Introducing Important Notes in Quotation We have introduced the \`Important notes\` in quotation. Along with that, new formatting options (**bold**, _italic_) have been added to the content of this information. Some important information, like child policies and visa policies, can be mentioned here. While creating the quotation, now you are able to format these services. ![Image showing important notes on quote creation page](https://sembark.com/assets/images/uploads/release-notes-1-161-important-notes-1.jpg) The quote email template has been updated to include the ordering option for these \`Important Notes\` section so that you can place the notes in the Quote Email as per your requirements. The default ordering of this section will be before the section of \`Terms and Conditions\` to highlight the importance of these details. ![Image showing Important notes in Quote Email Template ordering section](https://sembark.com/assets/images/uploads/release-notes-1-161-re-order-imp-notes.jpg) ::: info Migration from "Other Information" to "Important Notes" We have also migrated the existing \`Other Information\` section in Quotation to the \`Important Notes\` to further highlight the usage of these details. If you had attached \`Other Information\` details to any of your quotations, it will be shown in the \`Important Notes\` section. ::: ## 4. Quick addition of new hotel during quotation To fasten the quote creation process when you need to add hotel details on-the-spot, we’ve added a new “Quick Add” option. When the option is enabled (automatically enabled by system), you need to provide only minimal details (such as name, location, meals and rooms). On Trip Operations changes Handling This update will allow you to amend the services more faster. As always, any change in the bookings details will result in price reset, hence you must verify the details before updating the bookings. Service-wise Rate comparison in Profit report To ensure you have correctly quoted (sales) the price of services in the Trip Profit Report, the system will now automatically sync the quoted prices of services (hotels, transportation, activities) with the latest quote if you update the quotation after conversion. This also ensures that we have correctly quoted prices even if we have added some bookings which are not in the quotation. ![](https://sembark.com/assets/images/uploads/release-notes-1-161-profit-report.jpg) ## 7. ⁠Booking amount and payment visibility on the calendar and Supplier detailed Ledgers Now you can show the paid amount details for booked operational services, giving you better visibility into financial tracking. Add travel activities in the transport-only download In Trip operational bookings for a particular day, we have updated the names of the reports to activities, transport and all services. Now we are showing the transport and activities report download option on the right side of all services on the booking overview page. In addition to that, we also added an activities column in the report of transport services to show upto 4 activities linked to a Transport Service for a given day. ![Image showing transport-only download ](https://sembark.com/assets/images/uploads/release-notes-1-161-addition-of-activities-in-cab-type-only-.jpg) ## 9. ⁠Reordering of Inclusion/Exclusion with other improvements - You can now easily reorder inclusions and exclusions when creating or editing a trip. - When adding a new preset of Inclusion/Exclusion, the form is more flexible now. Hotel Entry Method Showing during Quotation Now you can see the hotel entry method in the hotel dropdown during quotation creation.
