Responsibilities:

Team Management and Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of BDEs and Telesales Executives to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones to provide feedback, coaching, and ensure the team is aligned with business goals.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-first culture within the sales team.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs and sales metrics, ensuring consistent achievement of targets.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Conduct in-depth product demos for potential clients, showcasing the value of our B2B SaaS solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Engage with leads generated from cold calling to understand their business processes, pain points, and requirements.
  • Customize product demos based on the specific needs and challenges of each prospect, ensuring a personalized and impactful presentation.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, & product teams to ensure a smooth client experience.

Outbound and Inbound Sales Activities

  • Oversee daily telesales operations, ensuring the team conducts sales calls per day targeting both domestic and international clients.
  • Ensure the team achieves a minimum of certain minutes of active talk time per day to engage and qualify prospects.
  • Monitor and evaluate lead generation efforts, ensuring consistent conversion rates from cold calls and outreach campaigns.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential domestic and international markets, uncovering new sales opportunities and avenues for expansion.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work closely with the CMO and CEO to develop strategic sales plans and targets that align with business goals and growth initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM systems, ensuring transparency and tracking of lead statuses, calls, and interactions.
  • Provide periodic updates and insights to senior management regarding sales activities, pipeline progress, and team performance.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role overseeing sales teams.
  • Proven experience in a B2B sales environment, must within the SaaS, tech, or travel industries.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in hospitality management, tourism, or a related field.
  • Strong background in conducting product demos, engaging prospects, and converting leads into clients.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage, motivate, and collaborate with the sales team.
  • In-depth understanding of sales strategies, lead generation, and the sales cycle.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, & MS Office.
  • Ability to tailor messaging and product demos to address client-specific pain points and requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess performance, optimize sales strategies, and track KPIs effectively.
  • Valid Indian Passport Holder and willingness to travel at least thrice a quarter to represent Sembark in industry related events/conferences/exhibitions.
