About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious International Business Development Manager - Travel Technology to help Sembark grow across international travel markets.
You will focus on finding the right travel companies, reaching decision-makers, starting meaningful conversations, conducting product demos and converting qualified opportunities into customers.

Research companies using:
- LinkedIn / Sales Navigator
- Apollo
- Travel associations
- Trade shows and exhibitor lists

Messages should be personalised based on the company’s business and likely needs.

You should be able to:
- Understand the prospect’s business
- Ask the right discovery questions
- Show relevant Sembark features
- Explain business value
- Answer questions
- Handle basic objections
- Agree on clear next steps
5. Support the Sales Cycle
Own opportunities from first conversation to commercial discussion.
This includes:
Prospecting → Qualification → Demo → Proposal → Follow-up → Negotiation → Closing
For larger or strategic opportunities, you will work directly with the CBO / CEO.
6. Build Market Knowledge
Develop a strong understanding of:
- International DMCs
- Travel technology
- Travel business workflows
- Market-specific needs
- Competitors
- Common operational challenges
Your market knowledge should help Sembark improve its international sales approach.
7. Events & Networking
Represent Sembark at relevant travel exhibitions, conferences and roadshows.
You will help with:
Before: Research → Target accounts → Outreach → Meetings
During: Networking → Qualification → Product conversations
After: Follow-up → Demos → Opportunities → Closures

Must have:
- 2+ years of B2B sales / business development experience
- Experience with outbound prospecting

Good to have:

- International B2B sales
- Experience selling to founders / CEOs / CXOs
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo or similar tools

Career Growth
This role is designed for someone who wants to grow into a larger sales responsibility.
As you demonstrate strong performance, ownership and commercial results, the role can grow into:
International BD Manager → Senior / Strategic BD → Sales Leadership
High performers will get the opportunity to build markets, develop sales processes and eventually build and manage a business development team.
