This release introduces three organisational controls that improve consistency and financial discipline across the platform. Admins can now manage tags centrally to enforce consistent naming across the organisation. Flight pricing has been updated to support per-person rates alongside total pricing — with full flexibility for mixed combinations. And a new Minimum Markup setting at the brand level ensures that no quotation is saved below your organisation’s defined profitability threshold.
Let’s dive into more details.
1. Trips Tags Management
We have Added Trips Tags Management — a system that gives Admins full control over the tags available across the organisation. Tags can now only be created and managed by Admins, ensuring that every tag has a defined meaning, a consistent name, and a visual identity that is uniform across all users and modules.

Why this feature matters
Previously, any user could create tags based on their own understanding. Over time, this led to inconsistent naming — the same type of information tagged differently by different team members — making tags unreliable for organisation-wide communication. Centralised Tags Management eliminates this by making tag creation an admin-controlled action, while all other users simply select from the approved list.
Accessing Tags Management
Navigate to Profile → Organisation → Repository → Tags
This is where Admins can create, view, and manage all tags used across Trip Plan Requests and Trips.
Creating a Tag
When an Admin creates a new tag, they fill in three fields:
- Title — the name of the tag as it will appear across the system
- Colour — a colour associated with the tag for quick visual identification
- Description — a note explaining what the tag represents and when it should be used
Once created, the tag appears in the Tags table.

Using Tags in Trip Plan Requests and Trips
Once tags are created by an Admin, they become available for all users in the relevant sections.
In the Trip Plan Request or Trips section, users can assign tags using the Edit Tag option. Tags appear with the exact colour configured during creation — making visual identification consistent for every user across the organisation.

Disabling a Tag
Admins can disable any tag that is no longer needed. However, there is one important condition:
A tag can only be disabled when its usage count is zero.
If a tag is currently applied anywhere in the system — on any Trip Plan Request or Trip — it cannot be disabled until it has been removed from all those records. This prevents existing data from losing its tags unexpectedly.
Example scenario:
Your team created a tag called Follow Up Pending and it is currently applied to 12 Trip Plan Requests. If you try to disable it, the system will block the action. Once the tag has been removed from all 12 records, it can then be disabled successfully.

Benefits
- Enforce consistent tag naming and meaning across the entire organisation.
- Prevent tag fragmentation caused by individual users creating their own variations.
- Colour-coded tags give visual consistency across all users and modules.
- Usage count tracking makes it easy to audit which tags are actively in use before disabling them.
- Descriptions help new team members understand the intended purpose of each tag without guessing.
Flight Per Person Pricing
We have completely redesigned the flight pricing section to support per-person pricing alongside the existing total pricing. You can now enter flight costs and selling prices at an individual passenger level — per adult, per child, and per infant — or continue entering the total price as before. Both approaches are supported simultaneously, with full flexibility to mix and match.

Why this feature matters
Previously, flight pricing in Sembark only supported a single overall price regardless of how many passengers were travelling. If a supplier quoted ₹5,000 per person for a group of 4, someone on your team had to manually calculate ₹20,000 and enter that as the total. Any change in passenger count meant recalculating and re-entering the total manually. With per-person pricing, you enter the per-person rate once, and the system handles the rest.
What Has Changed in the Pricing Section
In flight pricing section we have included some new fields -
- Cost Price for adult, child, infant and total cost price
- Selling Price for adult, child, infant and total selling price
This applies to all three flight types: One Way, Round Trip, and Multi-City.
Supported Pricing Combinations
You are not required to fill in every field. The system supports multiple combinations depending on how your supplier provides pricing and how your team prefers to work:
- Both per person
- Both as total
- Cost per person, selling as total
- Cost as total, selling per person
Where Flight Pricing Appears
A separate Flight Pricing section is now displayed specifically for flights, showing:
- The per-person breakdown by passenger type
- The overall total derived from the per-person rates
All other land package components — hotels, transport, activities — continue to appear in the regular pricing section as before. Flight pricing is kept separate so the breakdown is always clear and does not get mixed into the land cost totals.
Benefits
- Enter the supplier’s per-person rate directly without calculating totals manually.
- Passenger count changes are reflected in the total automatically.
- Mixed pricing combinations give you flexibility to work with however your supplier or your finance team structures the numbers.
- The separate flight pricing section keeps air costs clearly separated from land costs for accurate profitability tracking.
Minimum Markup Settings
We have introduced Minimum Markup Settings at the brand level, allowing Admins to define the lowest markup percentage that must be applied on any quotation for destinations under a specific brand. If a quotation does not meet the minimum markup requirement, the system will not allow it to be saved.

Why this feature matters
Without a markup, individual team members have full discretion over how much markup they apply to a quotation. This can result in quotations being sent to customers at margins that are below the organisation’s minimum profitability expectations — sometimes unintentionally, due to miscalculations or oversight. Minimum Markup Settings create a hard guardrail that ensures every quotation that leaves your system meets your organisation’s defined profit threshold.
Setting Up Minimum Markup
Navigate to Profile → Organisation → Brands → select a Brand → Edit → Markup Settings
In the Markup Settings section, the Admin can define a minimum markup percentage for that brand. Once saved, this minimum applies to all destinations associated with that brand.
Example: Brand Rajasthan Holidays is configured with a minimum markup of 20%. All destinations under this brand — Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur — will follow the 20% minimum markup rule.
How the Minimum Markup is Enforced
When a user creates or edits a trip for a destination covered by the brand’s minimum markup setting and tries to save the quotation, the system calculates the markup percentage on the total cost price of the entire quotation.
The markup can be achieved in any combination across components. It does not need to come from a single line item — what matters is that the overall markup across all components of the quotation meets or exceeds the defined minimum.
Calculation Example
- Total Cost Price of quotation: ₹1,00,000
- Configured minimum markup: 20%
- Minimum markup amount required: ₹20,000
- Quotation must have a selling price of at least ₹1,20,000
If the markup on the quotation is even slightly below 20%, the system will block the save action and prompt the user to increase the markup before the quotation can be saved.
Benefits
- Ensure every quotation that leaves your organisation meets your minimum profitability requirement.
- Prevent below-threshold quotations from being saved, whether due to oversight or miscalculation.
- Apply the rule at the brand level so it automatically covers all destinations under that brand — no need to configure it per destination.
- Flexibility in how the minimum is achieved — across any combination of components — avoids unnecessary rigidity in how your team structures pricing.
Other Improvements
- Modify Quote Exchange Rate Permission: Admins can now control whether a Salesperson can manually update the currency exchange rate (ROE) on a quotation. The permission is enabled by default for all Salesperson and can be toggled per user from Profile → Organisation → Users. When disabled, the Salesperson must use the global/default exchange rate. If no global rate is available and the permission is disabled, the quote cannot be saved until a valid rate is configured. This permission applies to quote-level changes only and does not apply to trips already in Converted or On Hold status.
- Incoming Instalment Report — Debit and Credit Account Details: The Incoming & Outgoing Report now includes Debit Account and Credit Account columns in the exports downloaded In the Unverified Payment and Paid sections, giving better visibility into the accounts involved in each payment for easier reconciliation.
- Operation Booking Email — Subject Line Update: The email subject line for Operation Booking emails shared with suppliers has been updated to be clearer and more relevant, making it easier for suppliers to identify the related booking without having to open the email first.
- Activity Voucher — Activity Date Now Displayed: Fixed an issue where the Activity Date was missing from the Activity Voucher. A dedicated Date field has been added to the voucher, clearly showing when each activity is scheduled.
- Profit Report — Quote Price Shows N/A for Service Booking Transport and Activities: Fixed an issue where Transport and Activity services added directly from the Service Booking page were showing
0as the Quote Price in the downloaded Profit Report. These now correctly displayN/A, consistent with how Hotels added from Service Booking are already handled. - AI Email Reader — Image Support: Fixed an issue where images received in emails were not being read or processed by the Email Parser. Images containing -relevant information can now be parsed alongside the rest of the email content.
