Update the visa booking status at each stage of the application from the trip’s Service Booking page. This gives your team a clear audit trail of where each guest’s visa application stands at any point.
TODO: Add image for updating visa booking stage
Stages
- Document Received — the customer has submitted all the required documents through the upload link. Your team can now review them and move the application forward.
- Document Verified — your team has reviewed the documents the customer uploaded and confirmed they are complete and correct. The application can now move on to scheduling the appointment.
- Appointment Scheduled — an appointment has been set for the guest.
- Appointment Done — the guest has attended the scheduled appointment, such as the biometric or embassy visit. The application is now ready to move to In Progress while the authority processes it.
- In Progress — the appointment is done and the application is now with the authority or supplier for a decision. It stays in this stage until the visa is approved or rejected.
- Approved — the visa has been issued by the authority. Upload the approved visa document so it is available under the guest’s documents.
- Rejected — the visa application has been declined by the authority. Select the rejection reason so there is a clear record of why it failed.
- Dropped — the visa booking will not be taken forward, for example if the customer cancels or the trip changes. No further action is needed on the application.
- Re-initialized — a previously rejected or dropped visa application has been restarted. The application goes back into the process, so documents and the appointment can be updated and the application taken forward again.
Approved visa documents can be downloaded per guest from the Guest-Wise Visa Documents section.
